Ultima Online Fansite Link Program
Currently, there are 2 levels available in our fansite link program. Additionally, any organization or individual may request to be added to the UO.com News Alert mailing list. Updates made to the UO.com website are sent to this mailing list as a convenient method for the community to keep apprised of current news and changes posted to UO.com without having to visit the website on a continuous basis. To be added to the UO.com News Alert mailing list, send the email address you wish to use for the updates to kerowyn@uo.com.

Reporting Official Ultima Online News
When first entering the Ultima Online community, some players find it confusing to figure out the original source of official UO-related news (we often receive mail forwarded from fansites from players who’ve written them with game development suggestions, mistakenly assuming they were the official site). For this reason, we require all linked sites to include detailed bylines when reporting official news from OSI personnel or the UO.com website. This information should include:
- The name of the organization which is the source (such as "OSI" or "UO.com")
- A link to the source (such as www.uo.com)
- The name of the direct source-page/section where the information comes from (such as "The FYI section at UO.com")
- A direct link to the source of the information
- The name and occupation of the person being quoted (such as "Sannio, UO Content Coordinator” or "Tajima, UO Producer"). If you don’t know their exact occupation, then be sure to note that they are official OSI employees.
